Loads of Manchester United fans have been running the rule over Daniel James’ imminent move to Old Trafford.

Not much has gone right in the red half of Manchester recently, but the Red Devils look set to secure their first signing of the summer.

According to The Sun, United will pay an initial £15m to sign James from Swansea after he underwent a medical on Thursday.

The 21 year-old has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for some time, and BBC have confirmed that the fee could rise to £18m.

James enjoyed a stunning breakout campaign in the Championship, scoring four times and adding seven assists, and fans are delighted to see somewhat of a change in transfer strategy from the club.

All too often signings have been made based on their name, reputation and price tag, whereas James is a hungry young player who fits a specific need in the squad, a far cry from the scattergun approach the Red Devils have often taken in recent windows.
